Oh, boy

OK, so, I'm sorry I haven't updated in fornever but I have been crazy busy.
The 4th brought about me waking up to my brother taking my mom to the Emergency Center. Turns out she had a kidney stone. Then later she ended up being allergic to the medicine she was given and so instead of going to a party I got to stay home and take care of my mom, and our pathetic excuse for a German Shepard. Poor pooch hates fireworks and freaks out at the sound of them. It was all good though. It was sort of nice to just chill at home for the night.
The 5th was mom's birthday and we went out for a very nice dinner, she was feeling much better.
The first full week of this month was Camp Broadway and it was fantastic. I could not believe how fast it went. My group of girls was awesome. A good portion of them were campers from last year, which was great. There were a few that were a handful, but all in all I loved them all. I made the mistake of saying that I might audition next year for American Idol and they all started freaking out about it! It was so cute. For the rest of the week I continually was told that they would all vote for me, and I even had offers of "Vote for" cupcakes and brownies. I do have to remember, if I make it, to try and work whoopie cushion into my appearance on TV... a joke between some of the girls and me. I got along so well with the TA that came, she was great. Guess she's coming back with her tour in January, and hopefully I can get to see her again. She was fabulous, plus she was playing a role I've always wanted to play... Belle.
During Camp, 10 people from the Studio went to American Idol Auditions and did very well. I can't say much beyond that unfortunately.
On the 14th I had lesson and it went well. Honestly, at least 35-40 minutes of my lesson was talking and catching up with my Coach. She and another one of my buddies that went down to Orlando bought me a fabulous blue cardigan from one of my favorite stores, and she gave it to me at lesson. Thursday, I saw the new HP movie. Good, but disappointing. Friday turned out to be hang out with my Coach day. I went over to her house early and we sat there for three hours, then went over to the Studio and I cleaned the entire place. The Studio had a performance on Saturday and it went well... well, aside from a small tift I got into with a mom. Issue is resolved, though quite a bit of childish stuff occurred and some hurtful things were said. But, the girl is staying in the Studio and I've still got my job, it's all good.
Mom had her surgery on the left hand on Wednesday and she's doing well. Getting tired of being stuck in the house, but she's just fine.
This coming Sunday the Studio gained another performance, this time at a larger venue and if we do well this year, we may be on the Main Stage next year. Here's to hoping! Another reason why I bring that up is that I may be performing in it. Not just as a group member, or saying my "1, 2, 3, 4" -- which is pretty much my signature line now for "Seasons of Love", everyone in the Studio gets a kick out of it.... but I may be doing a solo song this time, actually performing. My Coach decided to randomly toss me that information as we were about to leave Tim Hortons after our show last Saturday. "Oh, by the way, you're performing at Canal Fest"... O_o < My face, literally. I asked what I was going to sing and she comes back with, "I don't know, but you're going to." I love that woman... she's hilarious.
So, that's my July. Working at my other job was tossed in there somewhere, as well as finding out that I will be Managing multiple shows on the Main Stage at the Theater this season. Who would have guessed that after only one full season I would gain the responsibility of being in charge of the Main Stage. And, I think that's it... Any questions or comments let me know!!!
