Alright... so after a very long leave of absence I am back. The past few months have been crazy busy and I've neglected to update. For that, I apologize. But I think I may just have some more free time to update now.

Let's see, recap of the past few months:

Christmas was nice, very simple but it was great. End of last semester brought another listing for me on the Dean's List. My brother and his wife have moved in and settled down, yet his stuff still remains in his old room.. surprised? not me!
We all have been running around like no tomorrow and just within the past week or two are starting to slow down a little.
For the Theatre, things are interesting, that's for sure. My most recent show opened two weeks ago and we close this weekend. We've had to deal with one of the actors having to go to Florida to await news on her father who lived in Haiti. So, three days before open her understudy went on and did a SPECTACULAR job. It was amazing!!! The director, who was also the writer, would not listen to what the Artistic Director said, so she ended up quitting. Good news from the Theatre though, I may be directing a staged reading in a few months if I decide to.
Now for the Studio. Oh, the Studio. After 10 months of battling to have my voice heard and trying to better the Studio, I have resigned. I will no longer be working for or with the Studio. It's already been terribly tough because I loved everyone I have met and worked with, but everything happens for a reason.

Major events (other than calendar events): I got to see a friend perform in Curious George Live! during January... which was AWESOME!! So cool to be sitting in the audience, watching one of your friends perform. The only thing that has outdone this as being the coolest moment of January is my trip to Toronto to see RENT. After the show, I was lucky enough to get backstage with a few other people and meet Gwen Stewart, the original Seasons of Love soloist. She ROCKS. Plain and simple. To top it off, Anthony Rapp happened to be walking by while we were standing there, so we got a picture with both of them. Still missed out on seeing Adam Pascal, well I was about 5 feet from him, but I didn't get his autograph. Something I'm still pissed at myself for!

Classes have started again and it's going to be an interesting semester. 6 classes, one of them being a Jane Austen class in which I will be reading 6 of her novels in the course of a semester. I know, WOW, right?

Any questions, let me know... Until later!
