Lesson wasn't anything special last week. Mostly talked about NYC and then the show on Saturday (and how I was ready to kill my Coach when she threw me up there. I secretly [ha, secretly and I'm posting it to the Internet] think she had it planned out all along that she was gunna get me up there somehow on Saturday). Mom slipped and told me my Coach has some other duets in mind for me to possibly do at some point... oh boy! Let's just hope I get warning next time so I can prep! I gave her the signed Playbill from the concert that I got for her and she gave me this HUGE hug, quite the surprise. Then we just worked on my silly Cadenza. UGH I really hope that after this week I can get the darn thing down. It's becoming more annoying than anything. I just want to be able to perfect the tiny imperfections and get staging situated and stop worrying about the darn ending! UGH!!!!

The rest of last week was mostly working. Went and saw Terminator on Thursday, wasn't half bad. I'm not much for the Sci-Fi stuff but it was pretty good. The effects were great and the randomness of The Govenator showing up all buff was hilarious (I literally laughed out loud and got dirty looks from the two nerdy guys that were sitting in front of us). I also got a text from my Vocal Coach halfway through the movie, ":( not one text from you today. Sniff sniff"... so now I have to make it a point to at least send her a text saying hi every day... lol this woman is so adorable! You just have to love her. Even if I see her that day, texts before (saying I'm looking forward to later) and texts after (saying it was great) are a must. Then, somehow we continue for usually about a half hour every time we text, and usually about an hour if it's on Facebook Chat. Yes, I FB Chat with her too. Pathetic, I know, but it's easier and cheaper! lol But truth be told, I actually sort of enjoy it. We get along so well and never tire of each other. Sure it can get slightly annoying, but all in all I'd rather get a text from her than get no texts at all. We talk about all sorts of things and joke around a lot which is fantastic. We've grown close already and we've still got so much longer together. Geez, even if I do move to NYC at some point I know that we'll still be great friends and talk a lot. I'd have to keep her updated now! She'd feel all sorts of sad if I didn't tell her what's going on, especially in the city we both enjoy so much. Wow... random rant about my Coach, FYI you'll hear more about her in a minute.

So, Friday... nothing really happened. I just sort of chillaxed... yes I did say chillaxed... get over it.

Saturday was so much fun and a little annoying. I was all sorts of happy because I was able to hang out with my bestest College Friend and Shadow... we met up at SPoT Coffee (I was excited because they still have the fantastic Pumpkin Apple Muffins... OMG) and hung out for a bit. Then took a trip to campus because she had to drop some stuff off. Then the annoying part. Her friend, which was the reason why she was in town to begin with, was supposed to finish her photo shoot around 5:30. We were meeting my friend's boyfriend's mother for dinner at 6:00. Her friend wasn't done yet. The two of us sat in this really shady part of the city for about 20 minutes before we finally found out that her friend wasn't ready yet. So, I was to go and hang out with the mother (who is great by the way and ended up buying dinner), who asked me all sorts of fun questions, and wait for the two of them to get back. Finally we ate. Then we decided to go check out the taping of "Ghost Hunters" at a haunted train station we have in the area... yeah, didn't happen. They wanted $250 a ticket just to get in... HA! So we went for a walk around the river for a bit, took the mother back to her car and then the three of us girls went to have desert at the best desert bar downtown. We all found amusement in the bathroom... not in that way, get your head out of the gutter! The amusement came from a scary episode of Sponge Bob that was playing on a small flat screen TV in the bathroom.

Sunday, I had a rehearsal for our group songs for the upcomming month. The songs went well, then we went out to try and take a Studio picture of who was there. Large group, but we were missing about 20 people or more. Craziness. Then after that fun, I went to a family party and just hung out for a bit. And that was pretty much last week in a nutshell from Tuesday on.

This week is gunna be an interesting one at that. Monday: Memorial Mass, work from 12-6, bonfire (which my Vocal Coach might stop by for, my mother invited her... LOL); Tues: Vocal Lesson, work 5-close; Weds: Photoshoot (with my Vocal Coach's boyfriend, and which she is going to try and sneak in on so she can get a new pic...), work 5-close; Thurs & Fri: Work... I got 28 hours this week! I was all sorts of shocked! Sat: A possible show, that is if the people ever give my Coach the info (Yes, less than a week away and we don't even know what time or the place where we're singing, let alone how much time we have).... So that's this coming week, I asked my Coach if she'll be tired of me by the end of the week. Her response, "never :)" She loves the silly little smiley faces... lol

OK, enough for now. Questions? Comments? Lemmie know! Peace Out!
