OK, odd title, but it's the truth. Looks like things are on the up and up for my solo act friend and hopefully things are going to catch on soon! And that means big things for me too... I've been asked to help find him places to perform and ways to promote him in the area. When he makes it big... when he takes off... that means job security right there. That means I may just be working on a tour in the near future. Which would just be phenomenal.

I've really been thinking about that lately. I've got not only this solo act, but I've got the band I'm helping out too. And I know, I can just feel it in my gut, that both of them are going to make it some day. It's just in me, and I want to help them in any way that I can to succeed because everyone involved is so amazing. Maybe it's a good thing I'm leaning more towards the Stage Management side of things rather than performing. Don't get me wrong, I still want to act. But it looks more promising as an SM right now. Or even in PR/Advertising/Promotions.

And that doesn't completely break my heart because I know that if I can work for a while on a tour, then I'm just that much closer to an awesome job on the Great White Way... I will get there some day...

As for the rest of my life, well it's been interesting. What with mom's accident and all... she bought her new car on last Friday morning (basically the same thing she had only now it's silver and a few years newer), and Friday afternoon I took my car in because of an odd sound. Turns out I needed new breaks. Yeah... so another $600 later I got my car back. The joys of commuting over 40 miles a day...

Not much else is going on... been watching the Olympics and all I have to say is GO TEAM USA!!! Kick some hockey butt!! haha! Alright, I'm done for now... You know the drill...
